Hey friends! I'm building out a personal blog where I'll share life updates, media that resonates with me (podcasts, articles, etc), and snippets from personal projects. This feed is very much a work in progress, and you'll need a login to view some items.

Wow.. this album blew me away - more so than anything I've heard all year. Deconstructed rock (?) music that feels like falling into the grand canyon.. or maybe the gut punch of a life epiphany?
Recommended for: Fans of Black Country New Road / Broken Social Scene who want more abstracted, epic, and noisy music that feels detached from ego. Another great album with vocal features by Caroline Polachek (that does not sound like a Caroline Polachek album at all haha)
A pretty and grandiose rock album with a sound I've never really heard before
Recommended for: If you want a combination of Cocteau Twins dreampop harmonies, gothic instrumentation that evokes a medieval cathedral (organs, choirs, bells), and pretty motion picture soundtrack outros, check this out. It's giving Nosferatu, but benevolent. Vocal features by Caroline Polachek!
Been gliding back into the world of Big Thief with this 2 hour live compilation... voice memos, concert banter, and unreleased songs create a closeness similar to a tiny desk concert. Some versions are arguably better than the originals
Recommended for: Uhhhh fans of Big Thief haha
Samia continues to be underrated - her third album might be her best?
Recommended for: People who want 80% Phoebe Bridgers with 20% Porches mixed in
Bon Iver's still get the magic spark. Some of his most joyful songs to date - goes great with walks on sunny Spring days
My favorite songs are probably "Everything is Peaceful Love" and "Day One". Love how collaborative the album is and the production is as mesmerizing as ever.
EDM album from a rising star with fresh infusions of hyperpop and SoundCloud Rap swag.
Recommended for: Anyone who likes Charli xcx's more experimental and club sounds
Drum n Bass meets marimbas - a meticulously programmed IDM record that blends acoustic elements into crazy beats and soundscapes.
Recommended for: Anyone who likes aphex twin and/or wants to test out some audiophile headphones. "Let Me" is probably my favorite song.
