[Very mild spoilers] The beginning was funny, but moved a little too quickly and predictably. It didn't reveal enough depth or complexity of the central relationship to ground the middle of the film, which really dragged on. The choice to make the audience sit with Anora for 24 slow and disorienting hours made it easier to empathize with her in the end and was stylistically unique, but it wasn't necessarily enjoyable to watch. Still, despite the ridiculousness of the plot synopsis, the movie tapped into some really authentic depictions of naive love... but portrayed this love in a way that felt pretty bleak and cynical. Overall, the dialog, acting and creativity still make it worth watching.
